Liam likes to shake his head from side to side, sometimes when we say no to something he's doing but sometimes just for no reason as he's crawling along. It's funny and cracks us both up. He's been doing it on and off since we were up in Washington last
He dances. Really it's just a little bobbing along to the music but it's absolutely adorable to see him get this big smile across his face as he bounces to the music
The clapping has commenced. His little hands and just...well not so little but they are frantically smaking each other with excitement as he copies us or is proud of something he's done.
His walking is improving at moc speeds. He'll pick things up and carry them around with him now. I'm not talking about little toys, I'm taking about things at least 50% of his size like the little trash can we have for paper in the dining room or big cookie sheets he's snuck out of the cupboard.
Getting off the couch/bed is mastered. We still don't trust him to do it without being monitored but he hasn't hurt himself yet. I don't mean he won't fall off the couch accidentally, he will. But, when he is trying to get off the couch he does it right, turning backward and then sliding his feet off first.
To keep himself occupied he climbs into the basket of his stroller and plays in there...melt my heart cute.
Eclair is his new playmate. I know they've lived together for nearly 11 months already but now that he can walk he really likes to get her toys and work her up. I have a feeling that once he's able to throw (which we're working on) she's going to like him as much as he likes her :)
Outdoor cushions make fabulous play toys. Seriously, thanks to Brooks boys who set them up as a blockade for him he just throws himself into them over and over again.
Check out the excitement of the stroller, I don't even think I was this excited when I got it...and I was QUITE excited
