Easter day 2011

Look what the Easter bunny brought!

 Auntie spoiled me too!

 Egg hunt time!

Grandma and Grandpa brought me this hat from Sante Fe, do I look authentic??

Since it is Easter I'll finish off with a shot of our little bunny

it's Easter weekend and we couldn't let Liam out without decorating a few eggs.  I had a brilliant idea to do them on the back porch and I was absolutely pleased with myself when within seconds Liam had tipped over one of the dye containers.  This way he was really able to help but I wasn't policing him so much to keep the house from being destroyed.

Easter Saturday and Sunday

We celebrated a little early around here so that Mary and Gina could join us for breakfast and see Liam in his cute little outfit.  Around here that means a trip to Mimi's cafe and hot chocolate!

The easter bunny certainly was good to little Liam, he got this adorable basket filled with goodies only a baby would love.

But that's not all, he got several outfits from nana and papa and My Pal Scout (it is programmed to say his name and play songs he likes!) and a few other toys from grandma and grandpa.  I'd say he's spoiled and he's not even 2 weeks old!

We finished the day off with a shot of Jack Daniel's which is a Jensen family tradition, we have pictures of us toasting Hailee just after her birth as well

Easter celebration

Our morning began with breakfast, homemade elephant ears and bacon and eggs.Easter basket time
and of course egg decorating, I love the rainbow one, it was Dominic's technique but my doing.

That happened spontaneously after just putting the egg into the purple

Last week my wonderful husband got my lilies and I spead them all around the house, like I did with my previous bouquet...aren't they just gorgeous?

A failed batch of chocolate chip cookies, talking on the phone and baking don't mix well
During our trip to Walnut Creek to visit the container store I found my dress for Cindy's upcoming wedding...white house black market and $100. The bonus is that a small baby bump would fit nicely if it needed to. (sorry about the wet hair, I didn't want to try it on before the shower when I was gross from outdoor chores
We did a bit of work in the back yard, check it out

and pup enjoyed playing in the freshly mowed yard
