I realize he's crying.  He almost always cries at swim, this is completely common and many of the kids do.  He's working hard and is being made to do something he doesn't want to, wouldn't that make you upset??  I think it's more important that he doesn't drown if he falls in the water than that he dosen't cry.  He's never in any risk of drowning during any of his lessons and they are constantly monitoring his capillary refill, temperature etc.
