Bath remodel

Finally got started on our bath remodels....beginning with the 'master' bath. the room started out white and bland.....

and ended up with a great blue...

We removed the molding in preparation for new tile floors and because the crazies who lived her before thought that using silicon to seal EVERYTHING in the bathroom was a good idea...not so much! Here is the door sans moulding...

I'm still trying to decide on the tile color and am torn between a tan color with some blue veining and more of a whiter tile to keep the feel light overall....which one do you like?

Christmas Morning

Here is what happens when eclair helps with the baking...see those white spots?? that's flour

Eclair LOVES her hedgehog! it makes real hedgehog sounds and she's loved it so much it is SOAKED and missing a foot :)

We had a wonderful day and got everything on our list and more...we're hoping we're able to make it up to WA for the 2008 celebration! Merry Christmas everyone!

Wedding pictures

just to let ya know the pictures are available online...but PLEASE don't pay that ridiculous price for them as we have the originals and would be happy to send them to you for free, we just need to know which ones you like. The files are BIG and there are 1400+ or I would send them out to everyone. Would you believe there are 3 DVD's worth just to fit them all :) we have MANY favorites and are working on narrowing them down for the album....where to find them:

Christmas 2007

This is the first year that either of us will be away from our families for the holidays but we're trying to incorporate traditions from each side and make some of our own...here is a look at our decorations

Our home

We bought our house in December 2006 and have been hard at work making it a home. We still have a LONG way to go, but we're pleased with the progress so far, take a look for yourselves:

We had popcorn ceilings which were scraped and texturized (by a professional) before we moved in, if we never paint another ceiling in our lives we will be SO happy!

a combination of ivy pine tree rocks and many insects that was about 3ft X 15ft. It was one of our first projects and is now a beautiful herb garden

the bouganvilla which was taking over the slider, don't get me wrong, it's beautiful but also has 3in barbs on it...ouchie!
