44 and 45 weeks

We had a very busy and exciting trip to Washington.  Liam really enjoyed seeing his grandparents, aunties,  uncles and cousins!  Dominic joined us for a long weekend at the tail end of our 2 week trip.  As you can see by the pictures below Liam is deceloping quite the personality.

Liams firsts for the last 2 weeks.
He got to meet his cousin Camy.
He is waving goodbye to people, but does it to himself with his hand backwords
He shakes his head no, but we dont think he really knows what it means.
He Loves to play peek-a-boo with anything and everything.  His coat, pillows, curtains, seriously anything
He is learning how to clap, He only moves one hand and rarely gets his left hand involved but he is learning!
He will give you '5' if you ask him and show him your hand
Liam is very flirty, he loves to smile at everyone who looks his way.
He is standing on his own in the middle of the floor with no help, and squats down to the ground.  He has also taken a step or two before losing his balance or getting nervous and moving down to his knees.
He loves looking at pictures of himself, and gets very excited when he sees himself in the mirror.
He is dancing/bobing to music of daddy's iPad and his activity table
He tries to throw the ball/toys for the dog.  They dont go very far, but Jack knew what to do with it.
He is getting the hang of saying Mama and Dada, and is mimicking the inflection and tone of peoples voices.
He is eating everything in his path excluding honey (a no-no for young children thanks to Botulism)
He can also get himself down the stairs now by doing the exact opposite of how he got up them.

Here are some pictures:

10 months

Stats (taken at Bella's pediatricians while waiting for her to come in for Bella's appointment)
height: 30.5 inches
weight: 22 pounds
head circumference: 17inches
Here's your reminder of where he's come from.  I am absoultely shocked seeing how grown up my little boy is getting.  I can't believe he's not that little curled up baby that was born just 10 months ago and and fit all snuggled up next to me.

And our little Liam who isn't quite so little anymore at 10 months:

There will be a single picture of Liam in his green chair for consistancy but we were in WA over the 23rd and grandma's couch was our stand in

43 weeks

Liam and I headed up to Washington this week to help out with Baby Izabella and let everyone spend a bit more time with Liam.  We spent Saturday with the Jensen's just hanging out, went to Tony's with the Garguile's for Grace's birthday on Sunday, went to a Shower for Bella on Monday and Tuesday spent time helping Cindy run a few errands.  We've been busy and Liam is worn out come bedtime.

Firsts this week:

42 weeks

I have taken no additional pictures of Liam since the play date...Yes I realize that makes me a bad mommy.  Just know that the next few weeks will be picture heavy since Liam and I will be seeing family.

A few highlights:
This week Liam has really be making progress with opening and closing his hand/waving, repeating one word phrases including Daddy and HOT (we're trying to teach him not to touch the stove).  He still only says momma when he cries :(

When Dominic gets home from work he'll usually pull Liam into our room and play with him on the big bed.  Liam just loves throwing himself on the big euro pillows and giggling away at all the funny things daddy is doing or saying.  Most nights he'll even wrestle with daddy...I'm pretty sure Dominic lets him win.

He's been getting more brave about letting go and has been standing on his own for a few seconds here and there.  He's certainly not walking but I don't think we're far from it.

I've started planning Liam's first birthday party, the theme is going to be Dr Seuss and I have a billion ideas up my sleeve.

Again, I realize I'm a terrible mother and I promise to make it up to you soon :)
in the mean time Dominic took a few videos of Liam in his bouncer and I thought they might help you with a little Liam fix

and in this one he's bounced out...he does have a diaper on and was put to bed in his crib just after the this video.

if you can't see the video and are viewing this from the email go to the blog itself to check them out  http://www.garguilefamily.blogspot.com/
