Zach and Alecia's Wedding

I've been negligent and STILL haven't posted the wedding pictures. Well, that isn't entirely true since I posted them on facebook. This wedding was the sole reason for our trip up to Washington a few weeks back and it didn't disappoint. Leave it to the Garguile's to liven up a party...BIG TIME. Everyone was dancing, laughing, eating and having a great time. Without further adou the pictures:

At 11 inches (the length of a spaghetti squash) and almost 1 pound, your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. His lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and he's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums. His eyes have formed, but his irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers his body and the deep wrinkles on his skin, which he'll sport until he adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside his belly, his pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily.

Belly Shots:
First a reminder back to day 1

This is the first time I'm convinced that there really is a belly there, I've kinda seen it for a while but it's completely unmistakable now. I haven't compared like this in ages and I don't think the compilation even did the justice that this comparison does.

Weight gain: I'm up about 3 pounds which is still hard for me to swallow. I've never been one to gain weight and going over that 150 mark, which is bound to happen, is going to be HARD

Cravings: Nothing really this week

Movement: G is moving more and more. Dominic still hasn't felt him again and I continue to maintain that it's because he's such a calming effect.

Craziest realisation: I caved and bought new bras, please prepare yourself for TMI and if you don't want to know skip NOW to the next section. I am currently a 34DD people! That is just crazy. I started out a 34B-C...tonight I said to Dominic, "this child is going to eat well".
Best part of the week: My birthday and the relaxing few days I had off because of it.

Looking forward to next week: getting through it so we can get back up to Washington and celebrate thanksgiving.

Your baby now weighs about three-quarters of a pound and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long — the length of a carrot. You may soon feel like she's practicing martial arts as her initial fluttering movements turn into full-fledged kicks and nudges. You may also discover a pattern to her activity as you get to know her better. In other developments, your baby's eyebrows and lids are present now, and if you're having a girl, her vagina has begun to form as well.

Belly shots:

Weight gain: Up a pound or 3 depending on the time of day

Movement: Feeling G more and more with each day. I still haven't been able to time it just right so Dominic can feel baby again, maybe this week?

Food Cravings: I'm certainly eating more then I was before. Since we started our Bradley classes I've been trying to get more protein, but I'm just not a protein girl so we're using alternatives to meat like eggs and nuts.

Gender: We're still in the dark

What I'm Looking Forward to this Week: Getting back to Yoga and my birthday!

Best part of the last week? Getting the full report from the ultrasound saying that Baby G looks perfect!
